StarterMint License Overview
StarterMint products may be offered as self-hosted, open-source, or hosted software. The license shipped with each product controls how you may use, copy, modify, self-host, or distribute that specific codebase.
1. Open-Source Products
Open-source StarterMint products may be self-hosted, inspected, customized, and extended according to the license file shipped with that specific product.
If a product includes third-party packages or dependencies, those packages remain governed by their own licenses.
2. Services
For services, StarterMint may provide web development, software development, maintenance requests, hosting and infrastructure support, product setup, deployment, configuration, or onboarding assistance as described in the agreed scope.
Service work does not include unlimited support, custom feature development, ongoing maintenance, emergency support, or managed hosting unless separately agreed in writing.
3. Support
Community or product support, when available, is separate from service work. Service support is limited to the scope stated in a written agreement.
4. Refunds
Refund eligibility for services is governed by the terms stated in the written service agreement. Completed setup, onboarding, or custom service work may be non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing.
5. Warranty Disclaimer
The products and services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. StarterMint does not guarantee that a product or deployment will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or suitable for any particular purpose.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, StarterMint will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption arising from use of a product or service.
StarterMint’s total liability for a service is limited to the terms in the written service agreement.
